It is no longer news that the Naira continues to fall in respect to the dollar. As at the last time I checked, it was about N225 to $1 which is outright scary and has affected virtually the price of everything in the country.
However, what is news is that APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, says he would ensure that the Naira becomes equal to the dollar in value, if voted into office.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, he stated this during the South-East presidential rally of the APC at Dan Anyima Stadium, Owerri.
Hmnnn....I truly wonder how this will be seeing that it was a gradual regression that caused the fall of the Naira value but seriously our currency needs to be checked and soon for that matter.
