There have been speculations that former Vice President and chieftain of the APC, Atiku Abubakar, is planning to return to the ruling PDP.
He has however come out to deny such rumours and says he is in the opposition party to stay.
Meanwhile there were indications that he is being wooed back with the promise of handing him the 2019 presidential ticket of the PDP.
Hmnnn...if there is anything I have come to realize with all this "politricking" going in the country, there is usually no smoke without fire.
Atiku Abubakar is unequivocally committed to the unity of the APC and I believe it will take more than the antics of mischief makers to break that bond.
ReplyDeleteOver the weekend it was all over the news that Atiku was in his home state Adamawa where he convened a stakeholders' meeting and reconciled disagreeing camps within the party, towards ensuring victory for the APC..
So I believe he is glued to the APC project.
