In continuous steps against ovarian cancer, American actress Angelina Jolie has had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed.
She had the surgery done as as a preventive measure against cancer as according to her, she carries a gene that gives her a 50% risk of developing ovarian cancer.
Just 2 years ago, she had a double mastectomy and says it is not an easy decision to make but she has to as with 6 children and a husband, Brad Pitt, she wants to be around for a long time.
Angelina Jolie is also taking these drastic measures because her mother, grandmother and aunt have all died of the disease which made her decide to have both ovaries and fallopian tubes removed.
