The people of Nsukka, have re-named the Nsukka Township Stadium after Governor Sullivan Chime in appreciation of his support to the Enugu North Senatorial zone.
This was made known by the Chairman of Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State, Charles Ugwu, during the PDP campaign rally in the area.
The stadium would now be called “Sullivan Chime Square” and this announcement was welcomed with loud cheers from the crowd present at the event.
Meanwhile in reaction to this development, Governor Chime describes it as a pleasant surprise while thanking the people of Nsukka for their support to his administration and for the PDP.
