With the high rate of the Dollar and Pounds in Nigeria in recent times, there have been rumors that the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, is planning to convert domiciliary accounts into Naira accounts.
However, the Director, Corporate Communications, CBN, Ibrahim Mu’azu, has come up to clarify that it is not true and has no basis as the CBN has never contemplated such an action and has no intention to do so.
He went on to advise customers and the general public to disregard such a rumor and go about their business without any worries.
This is serious rough play o.....who even comes up with such rumors?
