American rap artist, Vanilla Ice has been arrested by the police for robbery.
According to a news release issued by the Lantana Police Department, a robbery occurred in a home that was going through foreclosure and items stolen include a pool heater and furniture.
During the investigation, it was determined that Vanilla Ice was involved as he is currently renovating the residence adjacent to the property in which the items were stolen.
A search was carried out and several of the stolen items were recovered at a residence under the care and control of Vanilla Ice.
His 1990 single Ice Ice Baby, was the first hip hop single to top the Billboard charts but since then he hasn't had much luck in his music career.
Since 2009, Vanilla Ice has been on a TV reality show, The Vanilla Ice Project, where he renovates and then sells houses.
