The issue of child abuse has become a very common problem but people often only see it in light of sexual abuse forgetting that physically abusing a child also falls under child abuse as well.
In Brooklyn, a 4 year old boy was found dead and covered in bruises and belt marks in his house yesterday and his aunt has been accused of beating him to death while he was under her care.
The aunt known as Nanie was reported by her boyfriend who called the police when he allegedly found her holding Ethan Ali's motionless and abused body.
Ethan's grandfather Leroy Ali also confirmed that Nanie often beat the boy with a strap and that he often told her to stop the alleged abuse as it always left Ethan bruised all over.
This is a wake up call to parents and child minders, please be careful with the way and manner you choose to discipline your kids. Remember moderation in all things.
May the soul of 4 year old Ethan rest in peace.
