The jury is still out on the creation of more states in the country but Vice-President Namadi Sambo says he is personally in support of the creation of the new Gurara State out of the present Kaduna State.
While speaking at the annual Afan Festival held at Kagoro, yesterday in Kaduna State, he said the demand for Gurara state was a positive agitation aimed at uplifting the quality of lives of the people.
Also present at the event was the Governor of Kaduna state, Ramalan Yero who also said the executive and legislative arm of the state government were all in support of the creation of the new Gurara state.
Do we really need more new states in Nigeria?
