Things definitely seem to be getting interesting in the campaigns towards the upcoming elections as the Federal Government has suspended advertisement on Federal roads in Lagos State.
The Federal Comptroller of Works in the state, Godwin Eke, confirmed that the directive came from the Minister of Works, Mike Onolememen.
A seven day ultimatum has been issued to all those affected including advertisement agencies who have been mandated to remove all advertisements along these Federal roads within 7 days.
This suspension affects approvals on use of rights of way, setbacks, clover leaves, loops, among others on all federal roads and setbacks.
