One of Nigeria's indigenous beer brands, Star Lager, looks set to break a world record by erecting the world's largest bottle tree in Lagos State, Nigeria.
The record-breaking tree is created with a total of 8,000 Star bottles as against the 3,000 bottles initially announced during the commencement of the project. This was because many consumers trooped in to submit their empty Star bottles as contribution towards the project.
The Star Bottle Tree currently sits proudly at the Star Beer Village, Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island which is the venue of the much anticipated Lagos Countdown 2014.
This bottle tree is the first of its kind in the country, and aims to break the current World Record of 1,000 beer bottles tree being held by the Chinese city of Shanghai.
