Singer and mother of twins, Muma Gee has joined the list of few celebrities turned politicians as she emerged victorious at the primary held in Rivers State to represent the House of Representatives which held this Teusday.
According to reports, Muma Gee had quietly decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, after taking the advice of her people and stakeholders going by the intrigues in the party and pitched her tent with the not too popular Labour Party which has now given her the victory.
She plans to represent the Abua/Odua and Ahoada East LGA Federal Constituency 1 and would be the 3rd entertainer to win the primaries joining her colleagues, Nollywood Desmond Elliot and Yoruba actress Funke Adesiyan who have also emerged victorious in their various constituencies.
