Political drama and intrigue continues in Lagos state PDP as the former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro says he will now work with PDP governorship candidate, Jimi Agbaje to take over power from the ruling APC in Lagos.
It will be recalled that Obanikoro lost out to Jimi Agbaje in the PDP primaries but sued him to court on alleged misconduct and the court had ruled that Jimi Agbaje not declare himself as winner of the primaries.
However with this latest development, it seems Musiliu Obanikoro is ready to concede to Jimi Agbaje. According to reports, the decision was reached because President Goodluck Jonathan intervened in the feud.
There are also indications that part of agreement reached is that Obanikoro would be given a senior ministerial slot and not minister of state which is a junior ministerial position.
