What often helps any magazine make sales is usually its front cover which if fascinating will translate into major bucks for that magazine. However, there are usually a few hits and misses and the wrong cover ends up doing the magazine more harm than good.
Adweek, an online site that covers media news has released a list of magazine covers that did well and some that flopped. in 2014. It would surprise you to know that former US First Lady, Hilary Clinton's cover of People was actually the worst this year as it sold only a little over 500,000 copies while late comedian, Robin Williams cover sold well over 1 Million copies.
