As many people worldwide look forward to celebrating Christmas today, according to the Vanguard paper, over 100,000 employers of Federal Ministries, Departments and Agencies are yet to be paid their October to December salaries.
The Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, ASCSN, lamented that while some state governments have paid some others are yet to and they include Benue, Ondo, Ogun and Ekiti states.
Speaking yesterday, Secretary General of ASCSN, Alade Bashir Lawal, said immediately after Christmas, the body would declare an industrial action to ensure that members get their salaries as the same thing happened and that affected workers were not paid till February.
I sure hope this all gets resolved soon.
