One of late legend, Fela Kuti's sons, Seun Kuti insists that marriage is a capitalist idea and he can never get married to his long time love and baby mama, Yetunde who is also one of his back up dancers.
Speaking in an interview with Punch, Seun explains that marriage brings the idea of ownership and he doesn't believe that anybody has the right to own someone else.
He also went on to clarify that if his baby mama meets someone else she falls in love with, she is free to move on with that person.
I guess to each his own because the issue of marriage continues to be a very deep mystery and personally, I remain of the opinion that people should indeed be very careful when it come to choosing a partner you want to spend the rest of your life with.
