It is no longer news that former President, Olusegun Obasanjo was not present at the formal declaration ceremony held by president Goodluck Jonathan to run for re-election.
What is news though is that, former vice-president and presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, just had a meeting with him alongside national leader of APC, Bola Tinubu.
According to reports, the meeting held at Obasanjo’s Hilltop presidential residence in Abeokuta(though not at the same time). This follows an earlier visit by Tinubu last month where he said he had come to discuss the state of the nation with the ex-President.
Meanwhile, confirming the meeting to newsmen, Atiku Abubakar said he had come to pay homage to his former boss and as well discuss how to move Nigeria forward.
