Prolific Nollywood actor, Desmond Elliot is not allowing his foray into politics stop him from his primary assignment which is making movies.
Speaking at a location in Lekki with Vanguard newspaper,where he is shooting his latest movie, the actor who is vying for a seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly, says the movie titled, Clueless will be released either in December or January.
He also explains why he chose to contest on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC. According to Desmond, that is the party of change and the party to realise every dream as it is diversifed in terms of the people that are members of the party.
On the people that have motivated him politically, he says he admires Governor Babatunde Fashola for his administrative effort, Bola Tinubu for his strong will and resilience and Godswill Akpabio for his innovative style and his energetic mind in nation-building.
The actor is currently in South Africa to promote a non profit charity, ONE's campaign against the dreaded Ebola virus and he was at the Big Brother Africa Hotshots house where he shared some acting and directing tips with housemates and ended up giving out his jacket to housemate JJ, his watch to Nigerian housemate Tayo while Ghana's Mambea was given a necklace.
