I keep saying the upcoming 2015 election is indeed one to watch out for as events keep unfolding as it draws closer.
Yesterday there were reports about the sudden defection of former Ogun state governor, Olusegun Osoba and some other APC members in Ogun state to SDP.
Meanwhile, the APC has expressed shock and disbelief at this defection and in a statement issued yesterday by its National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, he said there had been ongoing efforts to reconcile the aggrieved members in the Ogun State chapter.
Reports indicate that both Osoba and the incumbent Deputy Governor of the state, Segun Adesegun dumped the APC following an intractable dispute between their faction and that of the state governor, Ibikunle Amosun.
Lai Mohammed however reassures APC party members that they would go back to the drawing board to re-strategise and redouble efforts to retain the state in 2015.
