If you were thinking of buying land or building a house in Sokoto state you might have to cool down for now as there is a temporal ban on the allocation of new plots and construction of new houses in Sokoto city and its environs by the state government.
Confirming this development, the Commissioner for Lands and Housing in the state, Alhaji Nasiru Dantsoho, says the move is aimed at correcting the distortions and discrepancies in the Sokoto city’s master plan.
