Contrary to reports in the dailies last week that Stephen Keshi was sacked by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, he has clarified that his contract expired.
The former Super Eagles coach was dismissed after Nigeria beat Sudan 3-1 in Abuja last Wednesday but he says he is not happy with the way the media are making it look like he was fired.
According to Keshi, his contract expired after the World Cup in Brazil and he never bothered to renew it.
I guess he just continued coaching the Super Eagles out of his passion for the game.....and the goodness of his heart of course(*runsaway*)
