Former governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi says his administration did not leave behind an 84 Billion Naira debt as alleged by the new governor Ayo Fayose. He explained that his government took a 25 Billion Naira bond from the capital market and that 14 Billion Naira of the loan had been paid back.
Fayemi also advised Ayo Fayose to study the hand-over note before passing any negative comments on him.
Meanwhile the new governor has justified the term Stomach Infrastructure saying it is aimed at eradicating poverty and hunger from Ekiti and will remain a focal part of his administration as it is also about the welfare of the people asides food.
