Bukola Saraki Withdraws From Presidential Race As Rabiu Kwankwaso Plans To Run Under APC

As the upcoming 2015 election draws closer, there have been different reports about candidates that are indicating their interest to run for the esteemed position of President.

There had been rumours that Senator Bukola Saraki who left the PDP to join APC had plans to run but he has publicly announced yesterday that he is withdrawing from the presidential race.

In a statement issued from him, he said despite the major supports his presidential interest had yielded, he decided to step down from this ambition because of the complicated political outlook of the country and in the overall interest of the country.

This news comes just as governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, is to formally declare his plans to contest the 2015 president election on the platform of the same party, APC.

According to his campaign handler, Olisaemeja Akumaki, the governor got the go-ahead after consulting with his associates nationwide.
