72 year old Retired Major General Muhamadu Buhari has publicly declared his intention to run for president in the upcoming 2015 election. This will make it the fourth time that he is vying for this position.
In 2003 he contested under the platform of the defunct All Nigeria People's Party, ANPP but lost to former president Olusegun Obasanjo, in 2007, still under the same party he tried again but lost to late Umaru Yar'Adua. Fast forward to 2011 when he lost to President Goodluck Jonathan.
However, he has decided to try again this time under the All Progressives Congress, APC and he made it known today at the Eagle Square Abuja.
