Shocking Confession: Robin Thicke Lied About Co-Writing Hit Song 'Blurred Lines"

American singer and songwriter, Robin Thicke has made a shocking confession that he actually didn’t co-write his hit song ‘Blurred Lines’ with talented producer and singer, Pharell Williams.

He had initially told GQ magazine that he and Pharrell wrote and recorded the song in about thirty minutes and were inspired by Marvin Gaye’s 1977 song, ‘Got To Give It Up’

Robin Thicke made this confession under oath in a lawsuit against him that claims they copied Marvin Gaye’s song as their own. He said he was actually high on Vicodin and alcohol while Pharrell was hard at work writing it in the studio.

He went on to say he was jealous when the song became a hit and wanted some of the credit for such a great work and that he made up the ridiculous story as he thought it would help sell more records.

Blurred Lines is a song recorded in 2013 and featured American rapper T.I and Pharell Williams. The song became a  major hit and was number one on the Billboard charts for a long time. It is also Robin Thicke’s most successful song till date.

This year, Robin Thicke’s personal life has been in the spotlight after splitting from his wife Paula Patton and his most recent album titled Paula was meant to be an apology to his wife but it flopped.
