Following the building collapse of a part of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations, Ikotun, the Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola has visited the scene of the unfortunate incident.
There are reports that 40 people died and 140 were rescued in the collapse and bulldozers are still at the site excavating the rubble.The two-storey building, located in the sprawling compound of the vast
church complex, came down on Friday afternoon while undergoing
construction work to add extra floors.
The General Manager of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, confirmed that every rescued person have been taken to the Igando and Isolo General Hospital and the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).
Leader and founder of the ministry,Prophet T.B Joshua had earlier indicated that the collapse was a terrorist attack.
