Another American rapper has stressed the importance of education while on a visit to schools. Clifford Joseph Harris Jr popularly known as TI was in Jackson Mississipi this week to encourage students in celebration of his 34th birthday yesterday.
He was also presented with the key to the city as a special guest of honor at the City Hall by the Mayor Tony Yarber who praised the hip hop star for encouraging youths to make the right choices.
T.I spoke about his troubled past and how he spent time in prison for possession of weapons and drugs and he continues to encourage young people not to make the same mistakes he made.
He also went on to say the most important thing in life that one can acquire is an education which is more valuable than cash, bank balances, diamonds and gold.
