It seemed like good news when we heard last week that a drug that could help curb the Ebola Virus was being sent in by a Nigerian scientist in diaspora.
Unfortunately,the US have warned that the drug named Nano Silver is actually a pesticide and not safe for human consumption(darn it!!I was so rooting for it to work).
Just last week Governor Fashola had stated that he won't allow it be used on any Ebola patient in Lagos and yesterday,the Minister of Health,Prof Onyebuchi Chukwu had come out to say Nano Silver failed health requirements and cannot be used.
