CBN Fines First Bank & UBA Billions, For Non-remittance Of NNPC Funds!

Following non compliance on Federal Government’s directive on remittance of government revenue to the treasury single account, TSA, the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has fined First Bank and UBA the sum of N4.819 Billion!


According to reports from This Day newspaper, this is because they failed to remit  almost 100 Billion Naira belonging to the NNPC despite the CBN advising them on the need to comply.
