Good News For Travellers As Benin Airport Re-Opens & Arik Air Resume Flight Operations

Its good news for those who have made Asaba airport an alternative since the suspension of flight activities in Benin Airport for about 3 months now as the airport has now been re-opened.

This was announced yesterday by management of the airport as duly certified by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

Flight operations were suspended at the airport earlier this year in June to enable authorities of the airport carry out rehabilitation work on the runway which was in bad shape as well as put in place other infrastructure considered crucial to flight operations and safety.

Meanwhile reports from the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN indicate that Arik Air will resume flights to Benin with effect from the 6th of September.
