Teachers In Katsina State Ordered To Withdraw Their Kids From Private To Public Schools

Say what? Na by force? Well it kinda seems that way as the Katsina State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has directed that primary school teachers and all head teachers in the state withdraw their children from private schools for immediate enrollment in public schools.

Speaking on this development, the chairman of the state SUBEB, Lawal Buhari Daura said it is in a bid to revamp the education sector in the state and that the directive is in line with Governor Aminu Bello Masari's mandate that public officers under his administration make use of public infrastructures including public schools. 

However, it remains to be seen if defaulters of the directive will be penalized.
