9 Private Universities Get Full Operational Licenses While 11 Others Are Denied


11 private universities have come under the hammer of the National Universities Commission, NUC, as they have been denied full operational licenses.

This is due to their to meet set standards 3 years after they were issued provisional licenses. According to the executive secretary of the NUC, Julius Okojie, he made this known at the presentation of full operational licenses to 9 other private universities.

According to the Premium Times, the 11 affected private universities are; Wesley University of Science and Technology, Landmark University, Rhema University, Samuel Adegboyega University, Paul University, Oduduwa University, Tansian University, Baze University, Obong University, Achievers University and Wellspring University.

Meanwhile, the 9 universities that received full operational licenses are; Veritas University, Caleb University, Geofery Okoye University, Fountain University, Adeleke University, Western Delta University, Afe Babalola University, Salem University and Nigerian Turkish Nile University.
