Just 3 days after banning porn websites in the country, India has now reversed the order after accusations of heavy-handed censorship in the world’s largest democracy.
However, the country’s IT and telecom minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad, told India Today TV that the ban will be partially withdrawn but will continue blocking sites that promote child pornography.
According to the adult site Pornhub, India was its fourth largest source of traffic behind the United States, Britain and Canada in 2014.
