In Quest To Be Queen In Swaziland, 38 Virgins Die In Autocrash

The increasing rate of deaths in recent times is getting very alarming with the recent being 38 virgins who were on their way to the Swazi Reed Dance Festival where the Swaziland King chooses wives.

According to reports, a long time tradition permits the Swazi king choose a new bride every year during the festival where virgin girls are paraded topless publicly to ascertain that their virginity is still intact.

Unfortunately, these 38 girls were killed in an auto crash this weekend while travelling to the venue when the open-topped truck they were in collided with another vehicle along a motorway between the Swazi cities of Mbabane and Manzini.

Swaziland is Africa's last absolute monarchy and has been ruled by King Mswati since 1986.
