FRSC Impounds Over 1,293 Cars In 3 Weeks

Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Comission, FRSC, Boboye Oyeyemi, says over 1,293 vehicles have been impounded in the past 3 weeks.

According to reports, he made this  known at a press briefing in Abuja stating that majority of the drivers were operating without driver’s licence while offences such as lane indiscipline, rickety vehicles and overloading accounted for other offences.

He also explained that the focus of the FRSC is to ensure the enforcement of road safety ethics especially as regards unlatched and unsecured containers and overloading violation.

Can they please just give containers a precise time for plying the roads precisely when there are fewer cars around?
