The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, continues to introduce new measures to make the system a more conducive one for corpers.
Following the decision to post First class graduates to tertiary institutions which I told you about yesterday, (click here if you missed it), the NYSC have now introduced a self-deployment system to enable prospective corps members choose where they wish to serve.
Similarly, pregnant women, nursing mothers and students undergoing postgraduate studies have been banned from participating in the scheme until they are free to enlist for the service.
The NYSC, in a communique issued at the end of the meeting held at the 2015 Batch 'B' pre-mobilisation workshop in Kaduna, say this new system of self deployment will help address fraudulent activities associated with the previous method of deploying prospective corps members.
