The team representing Nigeria at the upcoming 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games have left for the US to participate at the competition.
The Special Olympics World Games is the biggest sporting event which brings together, talented people with intellectual disabilities across the globe and this year's competition holds
in Los Angeles and will kick off on the 25th of July 2015.
It will be the first Special Olympics World Summer Games held in the United States in 16 years and over 7,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities around the world are expected to compete in aquatics, gymnastics, track and field, basketball and football (soccer).
Lets keep rooting for these special people as they go forth to do us proud.
