I don't think all the back and forth between the two major political parties in Nigeria, PDP & APC, is going to end anytime soon as PDP claims credit for the bailout fund that President Buhari released to help states that can't pay workers salaries.
In a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, the PDP said a major amount of that money came from savings accumulated in the Excess Crude Account handed over to the Buhari administration by the last PDP-led government.
According to him, this contradicts the impression given by the president that he met an empty treasury and the PDP wants President Buhari to correct that wrong impression as to the actual financial state of the nation at the time he took over.
