It seems like with the recent increase in attacks by the Boko Haram, the military has begun the re-establishment of military checkpoints across the country.
However, the National Security Adviser ,NSA, Sambo Dasuki, says President Buhari never ordered the dismantling of all the roadblocks.
Also confirming this, the Director of Army Public Relations DAPR, Sani Usman, said the directive was that those checkpoints that were not necessary should be removed.
With this latest development, some of the checkpoints, which were dismantled following the initial Presidential directives, have since been restored in parts of the country.
