Some people have been asking if the Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, is actually on ground in the state as he seems to be on a down low.
Well, I guess he is just making his own reforms without too much fanfare as yesterday, he asked Lagosians to report sexual abuses and domestic violence with a vow that his government will support and protect them.
Governor Ambode made this known while receiving the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team at the Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja.
He said the only way for a government to fight such criminal activities is if citizens come out to speak and made an appeal that such people should not be afraid to speak out and that their identities would be protected.
