I saw this report about a 9 year old girl, Splendour Joe Abisoye who has written a book on terrorism which she titled 'Effects of Terrorism on Children'.
She presented her book which shares her experience when she visited an Internally Displaced People,IDP camp in the North, to the Director, Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade in Abuja yesterday .
While many have commended the little girl for writing this book, I am just sad that our children are being exposed to such violence at such an age.
Growing up, terrorism was something I used to watch in American movies but today, it is more or less in our back yards and a child as young as 9 knows what it is and can even write about it.
