Russia Launches Military Themed "Disneyland"

Russia is definitely not joking with being called a world Super Power as they launch their own Military version of Disneyland.


Unlike the usual Disneyland which boasts of various roller coaster rides with children themed characters, in the Russian version, instead of riding roller coasters, children can play with grenade launchers and climb over heavy weaponry.

This vast military theme park called the Patriot Park at Kubinka, was officially opened by President Vladmir Putin earlier this week.

Here, people eat ice cream as they walk past weapons capable of destroying an entire continent. The park is the latest move to capitalize on the popularity in Russia of the country's recent displays of military force.

According to reports from CNN, the park is massive and re-enactments of key Russian and Soviet battles are expected to be a regular part of the Patriot Park experience.
