Yesterday was the funeral service of state senator and Reverend, Clementa Pinckney, one of the 9 people who were killed last week by racist terrorist, Dylan Roof during Bible study at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston.
Present at the service was President Barack Obama who delivered a touching eulogy that practically sounded like a sermon when he burst into a rendition of the hymn, Amazing Grace which at first stunned the mourners and then brought them to their feet as they joined him in song.
Mentioning each of the 9 people killed by name, Obama made it known that although the 21 year old killer was there to cause a division, God has used his action to actually bring people closer together in the issue of race relations.
