Chelsea football club manager, Jose Mourinho has been announced as the Premier League Manager of the Year, making it the 3rd time he would clinch this award after winning it in the 2004/2005 and 2005/2006 seasons.
Mourinho, beat fellow nominees Ronald Koeman, Garry Monk, Nigel Pearson and Arsene Wenger to the overall award.
Since the award was introduced for the 1993-94 season, former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has dominated by winning the trophy 11 times.
