It is really appalling the lengths that some humans go all in a bid of smuggling items across the border and I am not talking about Nigeria alone here.
In Indonesia, more than 24 critically endangered cockatoos were rescued by the police after being found stuffed in water bottles for illegal trade.
According to reports from the Daily Mail, the smugglers folded the parrots into empty bottles so they could get through customs but the Indonesian Police discovered the birds.
If sold, they can go for as much as £650 each and this Yellow-crested cockatoos in particular are listed as a critically endangered species by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources.
