For those of us who have been wondering how come actress, Jessica Alba, hasn't been in a hit movie recently, it is because she has been busy making Billions of Dollars with her business!
The 34-year-old actress turned businesswoman co-founded The Honest Company in 2012 and in a short span it has gained a valuation of 1 Billion Dollars and earned her the cover of Forbes magazine in an issue titled America's Richest Self-Made Women.
The Honest Company was inspired in 2008 when Jessica was engaged to Cash Warren and expecting their first child and she had issues getting proper detergent to pre-wash some of the baby clothes she received as gifts.
This prompted Jessica Alba to search out more natural and eco-friendly products and the idea for her business was formed and she hooked up with 3 other partners to make it a reality.
Jessica Alba rose to fame at the age of 19 when she starred in the James Cameron sci-fi television series Dark Angel befor going on to act in mainstream movies over the years.
She has been married since 2008 and herself and hubby, Cash Warren have 6 and 3 year old daughters, Honor and Haven together.
