In the aftermath of the presidential elections of last week, reports have emerged indicating that the Resident Commissioner for INEC in Kano, Mikaila Abdulahi, is dead!
He died in the early hours of this morning at his residence in a strange fire incident with his wife and two kids.
The details of the incident are still very sketchy, but the police have confirmed the death of the entire family.
Recall that Kano state was one of the places where Muhammadu Buhari had the highest votes of over 1.9 Million people.
This is really sad....just as we were thinking change has come on the political terrain, may his soul and that of his family rest in peace.
