There have been rumors that black British actor, Idris Elba is in the running to act as James Bond and veteran actor Roger Moore who played James Bond 7 times in a row says Idris wan't "English,English" enough.
His statement sparked off criticism that he is racist but Roger Moore has come out to say his comment was lost in translation(what the heck does that even mean?)
Roger Moore made this comment in an interview with French magazine Paris Match and he insists he didn't imply anything racist.
The 87 year old actor starred in 7 Bond movies between 1973 and 1985. So far, James Bond has been acted by a Scot, a Welshman and an Irishman with actors, Sean Connery, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig.
Hmnnn.....wouldn't it be nice to see Idris Elba actually play James Bond?
