No More Crazy Bills As Federal Government Slashes Electricity Tariff By 50%

Still on power supply issues in the country, news is making the rounds that the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, has reduced its electricity tariff by 50%!!

Making the announcement in Abuja, the Chairman of the Commission, Sam Amadi, says this decision was taken to address the incessant complains from various classes of electricity consumers.

The reduction is set to take effect from the end of March.

Hmnnnn......good news or what? My only question is why now?
