EFCC Allegedly Freezes Controversial Father Mbaka's Bank Accounts & Invite Him For Questioning

Serious drama seems to be unfolding with Enugu-based cleric and leader of the Adoration Ministries, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, who preached a New Year controversial sermon where he urged Nigerians to vote President Goodluck Jonathan out of power and openly called him Badluck.

According to reports from the Daily Independent, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has frozen all his bank accounts.

It was reported that Father Mbaka told his congregation during the Wednesday’s adoration Mass for the sick and needy that he went to withdraw money to buy food items for the poor masses that moved down from north because of the election, but to his surprise, his cheques were returned.

On inquiry, he was told that he could not make any transaction, because the EFCC had directed his accounts to be frozen and that the commission is also inviting him for questioning at EFCC office in Port Harcourt.
