It was launched in 2006 and now has over 288 Million users monthly and counting! With the use of hashtags, retweets and favorites, Twitter has become a part and parcel of the world despite it just being 9 years old.
Meanwhile, in its history, the most retweeted post of all time was U.S. President Barack Obama's expression of triumph after winning his second term.
